APW - Howard Keystone, 23J, 14/12S, 14K gold OF original Howard case with initials to rear, gold cuvette with signature ring and interesting presentation engraving that reads "Her Wish Fulfilled, Rose To Ed, By Some Of Those Who Knew And Loved Her," white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, ruby banking pins, nickel-plated train wheels, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#1287238. Gross weight of assembled watch 41.6 dwt (64.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild toning of plate surfaces, few micro-fine scratches, small spot of oxide at perimeter of smaller winding wheel; dial with hl from 9:30 to center, seconds-register has been re-secured with small amount of glue evident at its seat; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, scratches to band adjacent opening lips, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
